Innisfree & The Face Shop - Seoul haul~

I continue sharing cosmetic products I have bought during my trip in Korea. The time has come to show some Innisfree and The Face Shop products. These two brands are in a list of my favorite Korean cosmetic companies. Mostly because of their "nature-friendly" concept, but also because of the high quality of the products and great results after usage.

1. Innisfree
Innisfree is a well-know Korean brand, which is quite popular in many countries. Innisfree Wine peeling jelly softener was one of the first Korean cosmetic products I have tried. And it was like 3 years ago.. So I have a long history of "relationship" with this brand. So far, I have only positive experience. And I hope it will stay this way. ^^

So, what have I bought there?

o, how i love their eco bags!! ^^

• Eco volume mascara #black
• Capsule recipe pack: honey and peach
• It`s real sheet mask: cucumber, acai berry and tea tree (one was as a present, but I don`t remember which ><`).

• Jeju Sudachi soothing mask
• It`s real sheet mask: shea butter, pomegranate and kiwi
• Capsule recipe pack #apple
• Samples: Green barley clear scrub (2 pcs.) and white tone up sleeping pack (2 pcs.).

2. The Face Shop

I have never tried the products of this brand before my trip to Korea. Of course I have heard about The Face Shop and I have seen some ads, but I just haven`t got a chance to test it. So while I was in Korea, I have thought it was a right time to buy something from The Face Shop store. Now I can say I am absolutely in love with the brand! Both the Nature Republic and The Face Shop are my favorite Korean brands at this moment. 

As you can see the concept of the store is almost the same as Innisfree`s

And this is what I have bought there:

• Aloe fresh 95% all-in-one moisture gel 500 (!!!) ml
• Mini capsule pack wash off type #cucumber
• Real nature sheet mask: Avocado, Aloe, Acai berry, Mung bean and Red ginseng. 

By the way, The Face Shop sheet masks are awesome!! Don`t hesitate to try them out! ^_- 

And this super huge "bowl" of aloe gel.. mm it is super good, too! 

August favorites~!!

This entry is all about my favorite products of the month - August edition! ;p Thought, I have been using mostly the same products I have included in my July favorites (check it!!), I still have some new products I like a lot and which I want to show you, guys.
As I have done in previous "favorites", I will divide all products into two categories: skin care and make-up & other.

1. Skin care products

1. MIZON Collagen Power firming eye cream 10 ml - I can`t say about great results yet, but I like how this cream makes the skin under eyes lighter and less "tired-looking".
2. Nature Republic Herb Dressing Gold Honey foam cleanser 170 ml - Very soft foam with moisturizing effect. It cleanse very good and doesn`t leave my skin dry and irritated. I like to use it between my favorite SNP Pore cleansing foam.  
3. Nature Republic Phyto Massage cream #Avocado 150 ml - Very rich nourishing cream! I use it ~once a week. It makes the skin smoother and softer.

2. Make-up and other

1. Etude House DBR403 Royal Coral nail polish 10 ml (?) - vivid color and dries fast!! The color reminds me of some yummy water-melon kk It looks super pretty on nails. ^^
2. Etude House PPK006 파티러버 nail polish 10 ml (?) - nail polish has light lavender color with lots of beautiful sparkles of different kinds. I like to apply it on all nails, or just to make an accent on one nail.
3. Innisfree Eco volume mascara #black 6 g - good mascara with the "natural volume" effect. It has classic nice brush which I like so much. ^^ It easy to apply and remove it.

July favorites~!!

July has already passed and I can already sense the autumn coming ;o I don`t feel sad, though. I like autumn more than summer ~kk *i pretty much hate hot super sunny weather t_t*
Anyway, as a 1st entry for August I want to share my favorite products of July. This is my very first time writing such issue, but I think from now on i will do it every month.. maybe~ haha I don`t know yet, because I am sure i am going to use the same products in this month too *actually I am already doing it ;p*.
How my "favorites" will look like? I am planning to post a picture with a description of the products and a few words comment of my impression of it *prepare for "omgosh i love it so much!!!" ahaha*.
Here it is~

1. Skin care products

1. SNP Pore Cleansing Foam 150 ml - great foam, which helps to keep my skin clean and healthy ^-^ 
2. Nature Republic Sleeping Tonight Lavender sleeping pack 150 ml - the best sleeping pack so far!! Love it! ^^
3. The Face Shop Aloe fresh 95% all-in-one moisture gel 500 (!!) ml - great as a body lotion or a light gel for face. Can be used even as a hair mask!
4. Nature Republic Natural Color Tangerine pack (peel off) 120 ml - very good pack, makes my skin super soft.
5. SKINFOOD Egg white pore mask 100 g - has the same effect as a clay mask - makes my skin healthy and pores less noticeable ;p

2. Make up and other

1. Tonymoly Dear Me Petite Cotton bb cream 30 g - really good bb cream which i use as a concealer, not for a whole face.
2. Colormatic Premium EyeMarker no. 01 (black eyeliner) - i like marker eyeliners! They are so easy to use ^^
3. A`PIEU Full of Nature mascara (black) - perfect volume mascara.
4. The Face Shop Mini Pet Sweet hand cream 30 ml - very cute packaging with a good moisturizing hand cream in it.  
5. Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral powder - the best powder i have so far, small format, but I have been using it for months now.
6. The Body Shop Strawberry eau de toilette 30 ml - i am addicted to this fresh yet sweet strawberry scent! I use it pretty much every day since March, and i still have 1\3 left ^^.

So that was my July favorites~ ^^ I am using all this products in this month too, so I am not sure if there will be another favorites for August.. well, we`ll see! ~hehe

p.s. Have you noticed that I use almost only Korean products? ~kk That`s because they are always good - great price with an amazing results~! After trying them I don`t want to use other cosmetic products than Korean. ;p

Review on products from RoseRoseShop haul~!!

Feeling good? keke  These days the weather is really nice in my city - sunny and warm. Finally, I feel the beginning of spring ^^` lol
Anyway, today I am going to make a little review on some products from RoseRoseShop haul.
Here is a photo of all products together:

1. Etude House Missing U Hand Cream I can fly No.03 (Cotton) Cerulean Warbler

The packaging is super cute >-<` However inside of the "bird" you will find a little amount of cream (30 ml, but it seems to be even less than that!). Seriously.. If you use a lot of hand cream, you should probably look for another cream. Now, speaking about scent - nice and pleasant, BUT, it has nothing similar with Sweet Cotton scent! t_t It isn`t bad or something, but I was expecting to smell something sweeter. In whole, this is an ordinary hand cream. No extra moisture or treat.

Rating: ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆  (only for cute bird package ~kk) 

2. Innisfree It's Real LemonLime Mask (whitening)

This mask is truly amazing! It has a lot of moisture on it (special lemon lime and green complex), so be careful, otherwise your clothes will be in mask`s liquid lol~ My skin became soft, smooth and started to look healthier after the usage. I`ll definitely get other types of this mask!

! Little shortcoming - this sheet mask has little holes for eyes area. I had to cut them so the formula of this mask wouldn`t reach my eyes -_-

Rating : ★ ★ ★ ★ ★  (I`m satisfied with the results, so the rating is high ^^)

3. The Face Shop Mini Capsule Pack - No.01 (Honey)

This little capsule pack smells delicious!! Like a real honey ~yummy~

The texture is gel-like, easy to apply and you`ll need a little amount of product to cover all face (I guess I will use it for a couple of times, before it comes to the end). 

This pack makes skin soft and moisturized. I used it to "calm" my skin after long and tiring working days.

4. Innisfree No Sebum Powder Mint

This powder has fresh, mint-like scent: pure white color. However, it gives no color on the skin. It just controls sebum and makes your skin mate for some hours. It also protect the skin from dirt, dust and other things, that might be a reason of acne and bad skin condition. And.. I like it also because of the effect if gives on a photo (when you use a flash) - gorgeous beautiful skin without any defects! Cool, right? keke

[How to] Lip scrub!

I`m sure, every girl wants to have soft and beautiful lips, without any cracks, peeling parts, etc. Thanks to different cosmetic companies, we could keep our lips in good condition. Just look at all these cute packages of tasty looking lip scrubs from various Korean cosmetic brands!

Wow! The choice is great. I, personally, want to try them all kkk~ Even though all these scrubs aren`t that expensive I see no reason why I should spend 5-10$ for a small tube or jar of it. Seriously! I know how it is important to take good care of my lips, so lipstick, lip gloss or tint would look great on it. At the same time I want to keep my money.

So, for the ones, who is at the same situation as I am, there is an easy decision - home-made lip scrub. ^-^

Most scrubs are sugar-based, that`s why you could use an ordinary sugar to scrub your lips!

How to:

1. Moisten your lips
2. Put a little amount of sugar in your palm
3. Move your palm to lips and press it, so the grains of sugar will stuck on your lips
4. Gently rub your lips
5. Wash away remain sugar with lukewarm water
6. Use your favorite lip balm.

Scrub your lips 2 or 3 times a week and they will stay soft and beautiful with or without make up! ^-^Y

p.s. You may use salt instead of sugar~ ^-^

[Review] Innisfree Jeju Volcanic pore clay mask

Finally I would tell you about Innisfree Jeju Volcanic pore clay mask! kkk~ I have been using this mask since March 2012, so for now, I have a full image of the product.
This is how this mask looks:

The jar seems to be quite small (100 ml), but don`t worry! You need a little amount of the product to cover all face. No wonder that almost after a year of using this clay I still have half of the jar left! ^-^

The clay has light grey color (it looks almost white on the photo, but it is because of the flash of the camera >-<`). This is a special type of clay - a volcanic clay from Korean well-know island - Jeju. So, the manufacturer promises a great effect on our skin: 

You definitely should use this clay mask if:

• you have clogged pores
• you have an acne prone skin type
• you have some acne, pimples, etc.

In whole, this is a mask, which cleanse your skin, makes your pores almost invisible, and makes the skin looks healthier, brighter and beautiful. ^-^
There are 3 different ways how to use this Innisfree Jeju Volcanic pore clay mask, which depends on the problems you have:

1. to clean the pores -> put on the mask on the face for 10-15 minutes, after that wash it off with lukewarm water.
2. to remove acne from the nose -> put the clay mask on the nose for the same 10-15 minutes, wash off with warm water after that time and... enjoy your clean nose! kkk
3. to make a pimple disappear -> put the clay mask on a pimple in the evening and leave it for a night. Wash it off in the morning. The pimple will be less noticeable and will disappear way faster, without leaving a mark on the skin.

By the way, you could put the mask with fingers, but for me, it is easier to use a special brush, because I think it isn`t hygienic to put the fingers in the jar every time you use a clay. >>-<< So, this is the brush I use:

This is the same brush you could use for applying a foundation or bb cream.

Now a few words about the effect from this mask:

As it is a clay mask, it tightens the skin, but not that much as an ordinary clay does. That`s why the is no uncomfortable feelings during the waiting and I don`t want to wash it off immediately. lol After using the mask, my skin becomes soft, nice to touch. It looks clean and smooth, the color becomes better (unfortunately this is a short-time effect :< I mean the color). 

I have a problem skin with big pores and such mask is "must have" to me. Because it also makes the pores tighter and less visible. However this doesn`t last for a long time, just a couple of days after using the mask. But I think it is a really good effect, especially to my skin! kkk~
